Our Writers, Editors and Illustrators Space prohibits listing biographies of all our writers, editors and illustrators, but we are pleased to present these samples. Editors DocRocket's editor-in-chief is Robert Hayes. Robert is a 37-year old graduate of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He has worked extensively in the software business, and has spent the last five years writing and editing. He is the co-author of "Make Your Business Thrive" and has written and edited innumerable books, e-books, articles and other projects. Writers Laura Evans has a Bachelor's Degree in History and a Master's Degree in Business Administration. After twenty years of sales and marketing experience, she is an antique dealer, an English tutor, and a freelance writer. Josh Foust is currently a senior at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he studies International Affairs and Political Science. His interests are focused on International Security, with an emphasis on Central Asia, and International Economics. Josh's background includes several years spent building webpages for the Navy as a contractor, and several months spent living and working in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. He can speak French proficiently, and knows some Russian, Mandarin, Korean, and Arabic. Michelle Lynn Hall is a writer, editor and business consultant with published work spanning fifteen years. Ms. Hall taught special education with focus in autism and learning challenges. Highlights of her literary work include: Editor/How to Travel for Next to Nothing by American Book Publishing, feature writer for Crescent magazine, and hundreds of articles for web and print publications on business, financial, animals, travel, history and education. Bill Hoyt holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and has co-founded several online businesses, including a news website dedicated to precious metals. In addition to managing investor relations for several Pacific Northwest mining companies, he has served as Public Information Officer for the Kansas Attorney General's office. Bill also authors a bi-weekly precious metals opinion column that appears on several economics-related websites and a weblog for the Lawrence (Kansas) Journal-World. DJ Kinney published a short story entitled "It Happens All The Time" which was published in The Allegheny Review in 2002 and won first prize for fiction in their annual national contest. "Rules For Healthy Dreaming in East Berlin" was published in The Vincent Brothers Review in 2003 and was subsequently nominated for a Pushcart Prize. DJ received a master's degree in writing from the University of Florida in 2004. Brenda Stokes is a freelance writer, editor and researcher located in Southern California. She specializes in health, fitness, parenting and pregnancy topics and has had works featured in ePregnancy, BabyZone, Motherhood, VegFamily, Next Step and others. Other work includes newsletter writing, music reviews, keyword-rich web content and proofreading. She is currently attending California State University, Long Beach with a major in English Literature. Bill White has written over 500 pieces on music, theatre, and film for the Seattle Post Intelligencer since becoming a regular contributor in 1999. He was also a contributing editor for Video Eyeball, and has written for the Videohound Film Guides. Other publications for which he has written include Boston Rock, Boston Phoenix, Earshot Jazz, Modern Drummer, Eye Magazine, and The Bridge. His poetry will be published in the Little Hermit Review in the Spring of 2006. Illustrators Barry Deutsch is a New York City-born illustrator and artist.
