Replacing Kofi Annan...

As Kofi circles the drain, speculation begins to mount as to his successor...Annika is rooting for Elton John. Personally, I think we should name John Wayne to the post. He's tough, he's pro-American, he's articulate, and millions of third worlders know him from his movies, still circulating in the VHS and DVD bargain bins of the planet. Plus, it would really cheese the French. I am sure some picky individuals will point out disqualifications, such as his lack of foreign policy experience or the fact that he is dead. Well, let me just ask you nay-sayers something: did nay-saying put a man on the moon? No, it did not. Did quibbling and fault-finding get Columbus across the ocean blue? No, they did not.
