Dress Codes For Air Marshals

One of the legitimate complaints about the Bush administration is that organizations like the TSA have done nothing to make air travel safer, instead focusing on image and emotion. One organization that has been untouched by criticism, however, is the Air Marshals Service. Until now. It turns out that the Feds have a dress code for their marshals - requiring them to be attired in a quite specific way. The idiocy of such a policy is immeasurable; what makes it worse is that (like good bureaucrats everywhere), the service denies the existence of the policy. (H/T Captain's Quarters.)
