WHAT IS IN THIS ARCHIVE:

currentrules.txt - the current rules file for the game (you can find updates at www.legendgames.net)

all card fronts.pdf - a PDF file containing the card front graphics

all card backs.pdf - a PDF file containing the card back graphics

You can print out "currentrules.txt" on ordinary paper.

We recommend printing "all card fronts.pdf" on as heavy a cardstock as your printer will accept.  Alternatively, you can print it on 8.5 x 11 label paper and then attach the label sheet to ultra-heavy stock before cutting the cards.  

Print "all card fronts.pdf" in the ordinary fashion.  You will need 21 sheets of stock to print it out completely.  

You can play Age of Heroes with just the cards in "all card fronts.pdf".  You may wish to print out the card backs as well, however, as the game is more attractive and more easily sorted with the card backs printed.  There are three different card backs - one cardback pattern is for the Battle Cards (the ones with the sword and shield on them).  Another pattern is for Item Cards (General, City, Army, Citadel, Road).  The third pattern is for Resource Cards.  The Tribe Cards (Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, Chinese, Celts, Babylonians) do not have a back pattern.  Only one sheet of each back is included in "all card backs.pdf" to save space - print multiple copies out of each sheet.  (There are two sheets of Battle Cards, five sheets of Item Cards, and twelve sheets of Resource Cards.)

STEPS TO PRINT OUT ALL CARDS:

1)  Put 21 sheets of cardstock in your printer
2)  Open "all card fronts.pdf" and print it out.
3)  Open "all card backs.pdf".
4)  Put the two Battle Card sheets in your printer upside down.
5)  Print two copies of the "Battle Card" background page.
6)  Put the five Item Card sheets in your printer upside down.
7)  Print five copies of the "Item Card" background page.
8)  Put the twelve Resource Card sheets in your printer upside down.
9)  Print twelve copies of the "Resource Card" background page.
10) Cut out the nineteen sheets of ordinary cards and the two sheets of Tribe Cards.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q:  I lost some of my cards.  Can I print out more?
A:  Yes.  You have the right to print out as many sets of the game as you need for the use of you and your family.  If your cards are lost or worn, you are welcome to print out a new set.

Q:  My friend likes Age of Heroes.  Can I print out a set for him?
A:  No.  You are only allowed to print out a set for your own use.  If your friend wants a copy of the game, please refer him to our website at www.legendgames.net.

Q:  Is there copy protection on this file?
A:  No.  We are working under the honor system.  

Q:  I lost the card file!  Can I download it again?
A:  Yes.  You have paid for the right to have and use this file.  If the file download link you originally used fails to work, please contact us at robandtam@legendgames.net and we will send you a new link.
